Rated by CAROLINAS GOLF ASSOCIATION
The Lake Hole requires a good drive, a lay up shot for most golfers, and a wedge or 9 iron over the lake. Better be careful, the lake comes all the way over to the right side of the green.
#2 Tyler's Temptation par 4
The 2nd hole is named after Tyler Jones 4th gradson of Trish and Ed Jones and the son of Amber and JR Jones. Tyler suggests that you hit what ever club will get you 175-185 yards depending on which set of tees you are playing. Now you are faced with a 9 iron or wedge to the elevated green. This hole will test your discipline, resist the temptation to go for the green.
The third hole is named after Trey Jones, 2nd grandson of Trish and Ed Jones and the son of Amber and JR Jones. It is the only flat hole on the course. A tee shot of 200-225 willleave you in excellent position to approach the green. It is best to favor the left side as there is out of bounds and the pine trees can cut you off if you are too far right.
The 4th hole is named after Reggie Crews, the first born grand child of owner's Trish and Ed Jones and the son of Melissa and Reggie Crews. Reggie's Lemonade stand was a big hit on opening day. This hole requires a shot of 75 yds. To 180 depending on which set of tees you are playing. This is one of the really good par threes in the area. Be sure not to loose it to the right.
#5 TC's Challenge par 3/4
Trent Jones is the 3rd grandson of Trish and Ed Jones and the son of Amber and JR Jones. They wish you well in playing TC's Challenge. Depending on which set of tees you are playing this hole is played as a par 4 or a par 3. From the bottom tee is the par 4. A shot of 150-170 yds. will put you in position for a second shot of 100 yds or less. Don't be long and don't be right. Only the very brave or the very foolish will try to drive this green. Played as a par 3 from the upper tee, you will be hard pressed to find a better par three.
Watch this one! You must negotiate two ponds, which requires a shot of about 180 yds to put yourself in to perfect position to approach the green. Watch out for the big tree on the right and don't be long. Cleared area right of cart path is under ground repair.
Be sure to look for our wild turkey. Mother Nature with her infinite wisdom has graced this hole with a beautiful wild turkey. This might take your mind off the hardest hole on the course. You have two options. A lay up shot from the blue tees of about 170 yds. will leave you with about a 200 yd shot to the green or you can aim at the big tree in the left fairway and hit a little hook. Don't go right. From the upper tees, a good play is towards the big tree be careful not to get treed.
This is a sleeper! Miss the green and you are faced with a difficult chip. Can play anywhere from 100 yds to 145 yds. This tee shot is usually into the prevailing wind.
This is a roller coaster hole, all natural terrain, with wet lands to the right. It plays as a par 5 from the back tee and from the forward tee it is a par 4. The long hitter can reach it in two from the long tee but they had better be careful.
Greens are watered at 7 am. Please repair ball marks!
For your convenience and safety:
A shelter and restroom has been constructed in a central location just off of #6 tee. Your help in keeping it clean will be appreciated.
